MRI
The Klamath Orthopedic Clinic has acquired a new MRI system designed for those patients who find standard MRI systems to be too confining, noisy or intimidating.

The E-SCAN Open MRI system is a dedicated extremity MRI system designed to fit into physicians’ offices. It offers a valuable tool to the orthopedic surgeon, essentially providing a window into the human body without using potentially harmful x-rays or invasive techniques. The system provides images of the extremities (shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist, elbow, hand and foot) of equal or better quality to whole body MRI systems.

The E-SCAN provides a stress-free MRI examination. The patient lies comfortably outside the magnet and extends only the anatomy being studied into the magnet. The exam is virtually silent and completely claustrophobia-free.

The E-SCAN reduces the time a patient waits for treatment. We can examine, MRI scan and typically begin treatment on the first visit to our office. Patients no longer have to go across town and wait a week or more to begin treatment. We can get patients back to work faster, with less anxiety and typically at a lower cost. The addition of this system complements and extends the range of high quality diagnostic services already available at the Klamath Orthopedic Clinic.

X-ray
In keeping with our mission to provide excellent patient care, Klamath Orthopedic Clinic has a high-tech digital radiograph and diagnostic archiving x-ray department on site. We have state of the art digital-imaging technology that allows the physicians or technicians to view x-rays, MRI or CT Scans from any PC within our enterprise at a very high resolution in just seconds. The images are stored on PACS for easy storage and accessibility creating a “filmless” environment. The innovative technology is efficient, yet uncompromising on power. Our patients can expect reduced waiting times and reliable image management.

This new system has the flexibility to meet a wide range of patient needs. Our patients will be greeted by highly trained professionals and treated with respect and competence. The x-ray room is warm and welcoming. The height adjustable patient table is wide enough for maximum safety and its ergonomic design promotes swift and effortless positioning for optimum patient comfort. The innovative technology creates extremely accurate images for the most precise diagnostic possibilities.

Our patients can expect swift attention and superior treatment in a setting solely focused on improving the delivery of health care.

Surgery Suite

Our clinic is a technologically advanced facility. Our surgery suite is another example of this. The suite provides a safe environment with complete infection control management. We have integrated surgical and radiological capabilities for increased flexibility in providing a wide array of procedures. For the patient this means that surgery can be performed in a timely fashion, without the wait, in a safe and secure location. We provide the latest technology to increase efficiency and flexibility. Experienced technicians who facilitate the deliverance of advanced patient care surround our physicians.

The surgery performed at Klamath Orthopedic Clinic is for outpatient procedures. Our patients will be treated with the utmost concern for their speedy and complete recovery. The use of general precautions promotes this outcome. The staff here is dedicated to providing the most reliable care possible for each and every patient who walks into our clinic.
