Our highly trained diagnostic imaging staff will clearly explain each test that is being conducted and what you can expect next.

X-Rays

In keeping with our mission to provide excellent patient care, Klamath Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic houses a high-tech digital radiograph and diagnostic archiving x-ray. We have state-of-the-art digital-imagining technology that allows the physicians or technicians to view x-rays, MRI or CT Scans from any PC within our enterprise at a very high resolution in just seconds. We can show our patients these images in their patient rooms as we discuss the next steps in treatment. We maintain our X-RAY services on-site, allowing us to process your images and begin treatment on the same day – without the need to schedule a second appointment.

MRI

The Klamath Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic has a state-of-the-art E-SCAN Open-structure MRI system. Our MRI system offers an invaluable tool to the orthopedic surgeon, providing a window into the human body without using potentially harmful x-rays or invasive techniques. The system provides images of the patients shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist, elbow, hand or foot. E-SCAN is a dedicated MRI Scanner with all the features needed for extremity MRI exams, but without the complexity of a big, multipurpose MRI system. The patient lies comfortably outside the magnet and extends only the anatomy being studied into the magnet. Typically we can examine, MRI scan and begin treatment on the first visit to our office.

In-Clinic Surgery Suite

Our clinic is a technologically-advanced facility. Our surgery suite is another example of this. The suite provides a safe environment with complete infection control management. We have integrated surgical and radiological capabilities for increased flexibility in providing a wide array of procedures. For the patient this means that surgery can be performed in a timely fashion without the wait in a safe and secure location. We provide the latest technology to increase efficiency and flexibility. Experienced technicians who facilitate the deliverance of advanced patient care surround our physicians.

The surgery performed at the Klamath Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic is for insurance-approved, outpatient local procedures. This convenient option is for lower-level surgeries than what are performed in our Ambulatory Surgery Center downstairs. Not only do we treat our patients with the utmost concern for their speedy and complete recovery, we work to lessen the cost of their healthcare with outpatient procedures. The use of general precautions promotes this outcome. The staff here is dedicated to providing the most reliable care possible for each and every patient who walks into our clinic.
